How it works

  • 1. Send a request

  • 2. Fill in the background form

    Click on the background form tab on this website.


    Make sure all the questions with a red asterisk are completed so that the form will submit.


    If you sign into your Google account, you can save your progress.

    If you woud like to request that I look at indictors of dyspraxia (DCD) and/or ADHD, please request this when you enquiry.



  • 3. Appointment date and time provided

    Once I have the background form from you, we can sort out a suitable date and time for the assessment via zoom to be arranged.


    A zoom meeting link will then  be sent to you.

  • 4. Invoice will be sent to you

    I will send you an invoice for the payment required for the assessment a few days before.


    I ask for payment on the day before the assessment.


    Once I have received payment, I will send you a receipt.

  • 5. A diagnostic report will be written

    After the assessment I will write up a report with a dyslexia diagnosis if appropriate.


    You will receive a copy by email within 2 weeks.

Career Ambitions - reports for the workplace and professional exams


Diagnostic dyslexia assessment for the workplace, including professional exams such as accountancy and applications for medical school, the police and fire service.


I have also previously assessed UK students who are studying at American universities.


               


University and the DSA


I regularly assess university students or students applying for university. Most use my reports for exam arrangements at university and also for applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance.



Sixth form and College


I regularly assess 6th formers or college students studying for A Levels or other qualifications.


Your child may be preparing for a university application or may be seeking advice on their learning profile, as well as establishing if they are dyslexic or not.


Please note that exam arrangements for GCSEs and A levels are the responsibility of the school/college and the SENCO should be the first point of contact  to discuss exam arrangements.



I am able to use the results of the assessment to complete a Form 8 for exam arrangements but this is dependent upon the school giving me consent to do this, as well as the provision of the Form 8 BEFORE the dyslexia assessment takes place.


It is always a good idea to discuss the fact that you are thinking of organising a dyslexia assessment for your child with the school/college's SENCO before you contact me.


I will provide you with a background form for the school/college to fill in as this is always very useful.
