Workplace Dyslexia Assessment
Are there certain aspects of your job role which you are finding difficult but are not sure why this might be? Having a dyslexia assessment can provide answers and solutions and allow you to access additional specialist support and assistive technology from your employer and through an Access to Work application.
The assessment can also give recommendations for professional exams,
such as accountancy including ACA, ACCA and CIMA exams.
University and the DSA
Applying for the DSA (Disabled Students' Allowance?
The assessment is suitable for students who will be
starting a higher education course
or are
currently completing a higher education course
at graduate
or
postgraduate level.
Many students at university are not aware that they may be dyslexic until they start to find certain aspects of study difficult. A dyslexia assessment can give you an insight into why you are experiencing difficulties with certain areas of academic study. Dyslexic students completing a higher education course are eligible to apply for the Disabled Students' Allowance which gives them access to specialist one to one support and assistive technology.
The report can also, where appropriate,
provide recommendations for
exam arrangements, such as
extra time, for your
exams
at
university.
Sixth form and College
The assessment is also suitable for sixth form and college students, whether or not you plan to go to university.

This assessment is also suitable for Year 12 and 13 students who will be starting a university course in September in order to apply for the DSA and as evidence to request exam arrangements at university*
